Tip of the Week:
To make an all purpose household cleaner Use hot water, soap and borax, or use 1/2 cup "washing soda" per bucket of water. Problem: avoid ammonia, which attacks your lungs, and chlorine which forms cancer causing compounds when released into the environment.

Navitron supplies:

Solar panels for your home solar water heating: Evacuated tube solar heating panels to produce solar hot wate, usually from one solar panel approx 2.25m2 area, but larger panels or multiple solar panels also available. The Navitron solar system includes twin coil tanks, flat plates, solar cylinders (twin-coil, triple coil or retrofit coil options) and pump stations. These can be used for heating domestic hot water, or for space-heating and can be a valuable addition for low carbon buildings, passivhaus etc. Each Navitron Solar Panel is capable of producing 1.5kW output during sunny weather, and will solar will contribute over 50% of the average hot water requirements throughout the year.

PV panels (also known as photovoltaics or just 'solar panels'), which produce renewable electricity for grid feed systems but can equally be used for, battery-charging, or for remote power applications. The 12v PV panels may be connected in strings for higher voltage, and used with MPPT controllers for maximum efficiency.

Wind Turbines - which can be used for grid-connection renewable energy production, direct heating applications or battery charging.

Water Turbines - also known as hydro turbines, or hydropower - which produce mains electricity directly from renewable sources. Available as water wheels, low-head, medium head and high head water turbines, both impulse turbines and reaction turbines which are ideal for off-grid living, but also suitable for net metering and/or direct heating - mains power hydro turbines for battery charging, direct power or grid tie - 12v PVs which can be installed in strings for greater voltage, and used for grid-connection with MPPT grid-tie inverter or simply for charging batterie

HeatPumps - both Air source and Ground Source from 5kW, 9kW and upwards, The air source heatpumps are normally through-the-wall type, whereas ground source can access heat via ground loop pipes or direct flow of water through the heatpump. Suitable sources include, burried slinkies either vertical or horizontal, well, borehole, rivers, lakes, streams or even the sea! The COP (coefficient of performance) varies accourding to conditions, and can be as high as 5.5. Navitron also supplies a range of accessories and gadgets related to energy efficiency, renewable energy and generally reducing carbon emissions / carbon footprint. These include weather stations, TEGs, thermoelectric generators and accessories for the renewable technologies listed above.

Installation Training Services also available - we have trained more installers in solar installations than any other organisation in the UK. We run courses monthly.
